Triathlon Awareness Competition

This competition is organized by the Hemaya Council at Dubai Police.

Participate in the awareness competition held from 9 to 11 October 2026, concerning awareness of sporting races. A prize of AED 500 will be awarded each day. The winner will be selected through an automated draw. Terms and conditions apply.

Safety Ambassador

The Safety Ambassadors initiative is an innovative, pioneering and strategic idea within Dubai Police's initiatives in monitoring the environment of the child by involving children themselves in monitoring the practices and behaviors of their peers that violate their rights protected by the law in order to enhance their confidence in themselves and raise their abilities to contribute to the protection of the child

Neighborhood Police

It is a voluntary initiative launched by Dubai Police, whereby individuals working in the security field and residing in various neighborhoods of the Emirate of Dubai can benefit from it by registering in an electronic system called the “Policeman is Your Neighbor” platform, which will allow them to communicate with members of the community

Positive Spirit

In May 2017, His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, led a strategic retreat with the force's key partners and officially launched the "Positive Spirit" initiative. The program aims to boost community policing by adopting leading practices and promoting positive interactions between the police and the community. The Positive Spirit initiative embodies Dubai Police's progressive approach to community engagement, recognizing the diverse local community as an essential ally in ensuring top-notch security and law enforcement.

Hemaya Center

The Hemaya International Center is the first specialized training facility for developing the capabilities of drug control personnel in the Arab world. It is the first of its kind in terms of its objectives, programs, activities, agencies, and target groups. This center is an extension of the Dubai Police's well-known role in developing its anti-drug agencies in terms of thought and performance. Believing in the importance of training and development in all areas of security work, particularly in relation to drugs and psychotropic substances, and committed to its ongoing pledges and initiatives to provide all basic needs, both human resources and material resources, the Dubai Police launched its training project, "Dubai Police International Center for the Development of the Capacities of Drug Control Personnel," known by the acronym Hemaya International Center. The establishment and launch of this center comes within the framework of the Hemaya International Program, implemented by Dubai Police in cooperation with the United Nations through the Middle East Regional Office on Drugs and Crime. Based on the special attention Dubai Police places on training and development, as it is the optimal investment in human resources working in the field of drug control. This is the most effective way to achieve the highest positive results in this field, where human resources are the most important and most effective when scientifically and professionally trained. The center seeks to secure and select the best internationally recognized and distinguished experts and lecturers who are constantly keeping up with the latest scientific developments and innovations. This is achieved through cooperation agreements with prestigious and international academies, institutions, and universities of high scientific and training levels. The center aims to prepare and qualify security personnel involved in drug control in all fields, both at the field and preventive levels, within the framework of a unified scientific and training framework that ensures effective action.
